Dead and Gone...

Empty spaces fill me up with gloom
Distant traces with no place left to bloom
It is hard to believe, reality slaps
with cut wings, I try to flap...

Loneliness, grief and solitude flaunt

I can take no more, even shadows haunt
with eyes wide open, I sleep
Heart beats with ache, real real deep...

Engulfed in darkness, swallowed by fire
Sockets meet draught, tears retire
YOU broke your promise, and slept

My body survived, but soul met death...

Empty spaces fill me up with gloom
Distant traces with no place left to bloom
It is hard to believe, reality slaps
with cut wings, I try to flap...

-Dedicated to the unfortunate survivors of Mangalore Air Crash.

Preeti,

It was a very unfortunate accident. Nice of you to dedicate this to all those who perished in that. May God grant eternal peace to all of them and strength to their near & dear ones to bear the sad loss.

Good poem but makes me wonder if it has some more hidden meaning.

Take care

none has read and understood this poem..

you have actually dedicated this poem to the 7 odd who survived and is still living with scars on their souls and bodies.. and from the comments here, i can see that very few actually read the whole poem and understand it fully before commenting on it..
